MELLOW YELLOW original painting

Not so different from yesterday. I had in mind to make it more detailed, but then realised I'd said all I wanted to say. I've been humming the song for two days now ... time to let go.

$25 plus shipping.

Apparently singer/song writer Donovan and his daughter Astrella Celeste are appearing at the Isle of Wight Festival on 9th June. Should anyone out there go, please come back and tell me all about it.

This reminds strangely of a dream I had once: Matisse visiting India..I can almost smell the saffron. You know what, I love it. You are such a multifaceted artist and everytime I visit, I never know what I am going to see. Keep the surprises coming. Great work, as always.

Thank you Neda. Thing is though, personally, I see it as a failing. I feel I should be getting down to producing a solid body of work in a style developed over a substantial period. Butterflying around, is not what I want to do ... so I don't know why I keep on doing it. Maybe next week I'll get serious ;-)

Your honesty is one of your best qualities, Bee. And that's why you inspire us....You know,Matisse (him again!) once said: "I do not repudiate any of my paintings, but there is not one of them that I would not redo differently." I guess, the beauty is in the process of creating...

Or as somebody said ...Art isn't something you hang on a wall, it's something you do. Hope you're having a great weekend. Hugs Bee
