Queen for a Day

We have a heatwave here just now and paint is drying too quickly.
So yesterday I played around with a tiny pen and ink drawing that I did a few weeks ago. I coloured it digitally, then matted and layered the image with purple and cream on heavy white cardstock to create a funky blank greeting card.
I've called it Queen for a Day and it's now available, complete with a cream envelope, all protected and sealed in a clear plastic bag.

Thanks Lisa. I get just as much enjoyment creating these bits of fluff as I do the bigger painterly stuff. They're quick too :)

Bee I saw these on etsy the other day, I didn't realise you were on there. Anyway you're in my favourites now! :D

Thanks Fran :) I like the style of Etsy. BTW have you taken a look at http://www.indiepublic.com It's a brand new site for crafters and artists. Not a sales site, but good for promoting your other sales venues and websites, plus good community spirit.

On another note: I just read abt the horrendous fires..Are you okay???

Thanks Neda :)
The fires over towards the Troodos Mountains happened whilst we were away. At this time of year smaller outbreaks are quite common and we have helicopters that scoop up water from the sea and fight the fires. When they got out of hand last month, your home country Lebanon and Israel sent some of their fire fighting aircraft to help us. It was a fantastic effort!
