I love the chunky solid look of this finished painting and like the way it can be displayed propped on a shelf or framed, whatever you like. The gessoed MDF board is a dream to paint on and I shall spray varnish all the surfaces, including the back for complete protection.

This is fabulous, I love how you did the silver and sense of age to it. I also liked seeing it from the side, helps get a sense of scale and presentation. Lovely brush strokes :)
Thanks JB :) I'd like to do more small still lifes. Could become addictive! Maybe after the next portrait or two.
