But then again, maybe I'm old fashioned...

One of the reasons I left teaching ealy 9after about 30 years), was simply because it all became so very formalised.

Nothing wrong with a bit of good craft. My degree was in Graphic Design. I've always been glad of that because i picked up everything from photography to screen to etching, etc., etc. Had I just done Fine Art (in those days), I might know more about colour but would certainly be limited in other directions.ian gordonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11321602608996003048noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27694154.post-74197390649856172522007-03-09T21:37:00.000+00:002007-03-09T21:37:00.000+00:00Gosh Ian, you're making me blush. I have little formal training. These days I really just want to paint ... but occasionally craft creeps back in... trying to keep it under control ;-)Bee Skeltonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05421142871437338317noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27694154.post-37691329548925244052007-03-09T20:52:00.000+00:002007-03-09T20:52:00.000+00:00Bee,You certainly must prove (or proven) a very po...Bee,

You certainly must prove (or proven) a very popular teacher with the range of craft skills you have. (I envy your colour sense).ian gordonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11321602608996003048noreply@blogger.com
