More sketches
As the starting point for producing paintings, the time spent with my sketchbook over the last few days has potentially been useful. There are atleast two that I will develop into paintings.
Hi Nana. Thanks for looking. These particular sketches are made with a fine fibre-tipped pen and the washes are thin black watercolour paint. But you could equally use diluted ink. If working out of doors, you could try taking a couple or three bottles of ink, diluted to different levels. Then all you need is your sketchbook, pen, brush and your bottles.
I really like your sketches. They seem so quick and confident. Are they all done with ink washes? I should try that myself.
