ABSTRACTS in miniature

After finishing the last painting, which was the largest I have made so far, today I went to the other extreme with these tiny abstracts. I used a variety of media including acrylic paint, gel medium, paper, moulding paste and metallic medium on thick mount board.

Thanks very much Sigmosaics. I think I agree with you about the third one. On screen it is my favourite too, but the others also hold my interest because of the textures which can only be appreciated when seen for real.

Thanks very much Trevor, nice to see you. It's a bit chilly for Cyprus at the moment and we have rain Hallelujah...we need it! Lots of signs of spring though ... the wild flowers are beautiful! See my Flickr pics http://www.flickr.com/photos/studiobee/3333245108/
