DAY 32 cont'd.... Project 365

Carole's pretty verandah.

Piece of peeling doorway in the old town.

More fascinating gallery visits this morning, then lunch with the girls.

Last year I nipped over to Skegness before the Summer season, looking for lots of peeling, salty, weather beaten paint work.

But sadly the whole town is now made of pvc, and the only souvenirs are Elvis and Betty Boop.

PS: You're so right about those easels.

Some people just don't get it, do they Ian. PVC phuppphhhh!! There's just something about naturally peeling/weathered paintwork that you just can't reproduce any other way. Guess it's up to us to snap it all for posterity before it disappears ;-)) Lots to go at over here Ian if you're ever this way ... but you'll have to be quick, even now they're gentrifying Limassol old town. I feel a macro 'peeling paint' abstract painting coming on. Stop it! I've enough to do!
